I recently replaced my battery with the kit sold here on iFixIt. I have a 17” MBP Mid-2009 and have tried an SMC and PRAM reset without any change in behavior. I’m wondering if I need to get a replacement battery for my replacement battery, or if there is something I overlooked? Any help is appreciated.

Try leaving the charger in overnight, then report back to us on how the battery performance is tomorrow.

coconutBattery also says "Good" status, but it's already lost 0.8% of it's design capacity in just a few days since I've installed it even having only 1 charge cycle. I'll try letting it sit all night tonight and check.
@codemagick Sounds like a plan! The next step would be trying another replacement battery.
Same behavior after being charged all night. I'll move forward with getting another replacement and update after that. Thanks!
