I would like to know if there is any solution to backup of IMAP email accounts directly to my Mac? Or I need to manually export them from my Apple Mail every time?

I personally just use TimeMachine.
Your mail file is already on your system all you need to do is backup your systems files to then either recover your data or transfer to a new Mac system using Migration Assistant.
