Try and plugging it into a computer and see if the computer recognizes a device being plugged in even momentarily, and let me know if you get some recognition.
Then try this. Although this will clear any pictures/games you have on the tablet
Hold Power Button and Volume UP button, a menu should pop up, using the volume keys scroll down to factory reset and hold the on/off button for a few seconds until it resets. If a battery symbol pops up, attempt to do the same with it plugged in to a computer or however you usually charge it.
If that gets you no where, I’m going to point towards the battery needing to be replaced, either it’s not holding a charge . Which after a couple years could be a strong possibility. Doing a quick search ifixit does have a couple guides on how to do this, but I couldn’t find the battery, other then conducting a google search and they range from $10-40 depending on what direction you want to take. My recommendation is don’t use ebay for buying parts, but that is a personal preference.
