I followed steps to change hard drive and install new 4GB RAM chip but now my computer is freezing every few minutes. I upgrade to 750GB hard drive and I have 2GB + 4GM RAM chips.

Try swapping RAM first. Maybe you've got a bad RAM in one of the slots.

Thank you! I did it but the problem remained. I also try only the 4GB and it did it again. Unfortunately I don't have with me the other 2GB I took off so I will have to wait to test what I had before (2GB + 2GB).
