screen swipe does not respond, consequently I can not enter pin.

1) On occasion the screen will black out and the only way it will respond again is by removing the battery and reinserting it.

2) It takes more pressure when choosing a button to get it to respond.

3) Now the phone turns on but the swipe function does not respond so I can not enter my pin to open the phone. All incoming functions seem to work fine, just get in to answer or respond.
