My M8S won't turn on .
My M8S pro 4k not working there is no blue light on the box and there is no pictures on the the TV. Help me please.

Hi,
Have you checked that the wall outlet that the device’s power adapter is connected to is working?
If the adapter is plugged into a powerboard (powerstrip?) try connecting it directly to the wall outlet and see if it now works OK.
If the wall outlet is OK use a DMM (digital multimeter - voltmeter function) to check that the M8S pro’s power adapter is supplying 5V DC power, or if you have a compatible adapter (5VDC / 2A output) with the correct size plug try using that and check if it turns on
If the wall outlet is OK and the adapter is supplying the 5V DC, how old is the device?
Check the warranty and if it is still within the manufacturer's warranty period, follow the directions in the warranty on how to make a claim for a manufacturer's warranty repair or replacement.
If it is no longer in warranty, then the device will need to be opened and the problem further investigated as to why it doesn't start.

Have you checked that the remote control unit for the set top box is working OK?
I believe that it is an IR type remote (infra red) so you should be able to test if it is working by using a digital camera or the camera app in a mobile phone.
Point the end of the remote that is usually directed towards the set top box, towards the lens of the camera (or phone) and then check if you can "see" the IR LED light protruding from the end of the remote turn on when you press a button on the remote (any button will do) when looking at the remote in the LCD screen of the camera or phone.
If you don't see it when pressing the Power button then try another button to check. The power button is used a lot and perhaps the button contact material has worn off
Hi, I have the same problem, The remote control works IR led light work but android tv box can't turn on
any help??? tv box is new :(
If the TV box is new and it doesn't turn on using the remote control or control buttons on the box (if it has any), then get it replaced using the warranty as it is faulty.

Yes this is a very good question because I'm in the same situation with My M8S - E -6330 DL ( V ) MMI 2016 -1 -15 ( 2K ) Model 812 4.4.2
no blue light reset button not working , I wonder how am I going to get that recover. I need a big help with it.

have you found a solution? my m8s pro+ does not turn on also...it was a pretty good device and I still want to use it even if I got a fire tv 4k since then.
