Faulty Display Issue - Bars down screen (NOT LCD)

Ok, So I have a Philips 49PUS6401 Ambilight TV,

I went out last week and left the TV on, when I got home. I switched the TV on, the find it has no display anymore. Just these bars down the screen (See attached image)

I took the TV to a local specialist and was informed it was the ‘Display Chip’ and it would be £180 for a new board without fitting

Now what I want to know is, would this be the TCON board, or the Mainboard. As I can pick both up for less than £50
