iPhone 4 battery shipping to The Netherlands

Hello there,

I need a replacement for the battery for my new iPhone 4. It is my last resort, because I bought a new iPhone 4 which keeps shutting down all the time as soon as I am using it.

Do you also ship parts to the Netherlands?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Grand Maverick 82 I know that ifixit ships all across Europe. But your best bet would be to check on this site and send them an email at http://www.ifixit.com/Info/contact .This area of ifixit is where normal users are helping others to repair their devices. Most people on here are not directly connected to ifixit. Good Luck.

Thank you oldturkey03 for your answer!

You really helped me a lot. Thanks quite a bunch!

I'm really glad this system of q&a works so well and

that I now just can proceed to get the best replacement

part for my new iPhone 4 (of the best quality) at an

awarded store, with a solid reputation, and that -

furthermore - ships to the old continent.

Too bad that having bought a new iPhone 4 at a store

doesn't guarantee that you always get a well working one.

In my case it was a defective one right from the start.

The darn thing keeps shutting down and turning on

again by itself every time I use it. And Apple of course

doesn't want to replace it with a new phone, but offers

a refurbished one without charge. I just bought this

phone little more that two months ago, and now I should

settle for a "recycled" phone? I know that refurbished means "just

as good as new", but still . . .

With all the money they make, and the fact that I bought

the phone new and it was malfunctioning from the earliest

moment (so the fault is clearly of the factory that build it or

the hardware testing department of Apple), they at least

should give you a brand new phone that does work like

you are entitled to expect.

Then, in that case, I prefer to take my chances with

exchanging the battery.

Thanks again oldturkey03 and good luck to the all

of yah too!

Thank you for accepting my answer. Yes, you are absolutely right. I never understood why Apple is such a Hard*** about their return policy. If you purchase an expensive device and it fails to perform properly, the consumer should have the right to a new and not a refurbished device. But I guess there is nothing we can do other than reconsider where we purchase the next new device from. Luckily, most of the time Apple has pretty good quality devices on the market. Good Luck to you and all the best.
