Yaesu VX-6R won't turn on after fully charging

I fully charged my VX-6R and now it will not turn on. If I try it in the charging cradle, it makes a clicking sound but never turns on.

Ist dies eine gute Frage?

bobby has this worked for you before? Anything happened to it between the last time it worked and now?

yes it worked just fine before I put on the charger to charge.
