Black after screen replacement, but the battery symbol is visible.
Hey all! I have a really weird issue with my iphone 6S after i replaced the screen. Right after the replacement the screen was black. It seemed like it started up, as it vibrated when plugging it in and when using the mute switch. I figured i the screen must be faulty or i messed something up. Tried with the old screen and it’s also black (it was just cracked and had lines through it), so i figured i must have broken something in the phone.
However, after it ran out of charge i noticed the “empty battery” symbol was showing perfectly fine when i tried to start it. So i know there’s no problem with the screen. “Great!” i thought, charged it up, and black screen again. Now it’s dead once again and the battery symbol is yet again visible.
So tldr: Screen works fine when the phone is out of charge, but goes black when it’s on.
Any ideas on what the problem could be? Does the “signal” come from a different place when the phone is on versus when it’s off?
Ist dies eine gute Frage?
