If you’re using windows 10 and you have already linked your Microsoft account to that PC then all you have to do is to reset your password through Microsoft website.

I would like to know in detail from where you wish to reset your password from??

I need to do this on my laptop. I haven't used it for awhile and had to get a new battery and now it won't accept my password.
