Keyboard Not Working After Battery, Trackpad, and Ribbon Replacement

Initially needed to only replace an old battery. No other problems at the time.

During replacement, I did not use any liquids. After replacing battery with iFixit’s battery, I noticed the battery didn’t hold charge and the trackpad and keyboard no longer worked.

Replaced iFixit’s battery with an OWC battery which fixed the battery issue. Fixed the trackpad issue by replacing the trackpad + controller board from OWC.

Replaced and re-set the ribbon cable in the process. The keyboard still doesn’t work.

The next logical assumption is I need to replace the internal keyboard too and tangentially iFixit has a quality control issue with their parts.

Has anyone had subsequent issues like mentioned after a battery replacement with iFixit’s battery?
