I bought a replacement third brake light for my 2008 Mazda 5. How do I get the old one out off the housing to put the new one in? I unscrewed the bolts and took the plug out.

@banditgeneral4 for those you replace the complete light. Lift the tailgate, remove the cover behind the brake light, unscrew and unplug the brake light. Check the connector since they have a tendency to get rusty. Replace the light.
