Trackpad cable replacement not working

So I originally I did a battery replacement. the Track pad and keyboard stopped working afterwards. So I purchased a new track pad cable replaced it and everything was working fine so I sent it back with the customer. The customer brought it back in the day after, the track pad and keyboard stopped working again. I was like wtf it was just working. Okay so I got ANOTHER cable and just installed it like an hour ago. so after I installed it the trackpad cable the TP and keyboard worked for like 3 minutes and just stopped working mid use, the mouse just froze. Ive taken the cable out and cleaned and reseatted it. The cable doesn’t seem to work at all now. its like this macbook is killing the cable.
