question on S8 microphones ideas?

So since this has two mics my question is simple if one does not work will the other or will they both not work? Seems I have found this weird issue, Neither work and my know how seems to say that if neither work that it is software but could be that if one doesn’t they both wont.

Hi @fixitright ,

Try starting the phone in safe mode and check if the microphones operate correctly i.e. normal call and loudspeaker mode call.

If so a downloaded app is the problem

I always thought that having two mics, that one was for noise cancelling when on a normal call and that it was used when in loudspeaker mode, so it would be unusual if neither worked in any given situation
