Pixel 3 sensors inoperative after screen replace

Replaced the Pixel 3 screen using the parts and guide from here at iFixit. All cables are in place, all connectors have been checked, nothing is missing or broken, The squeeze sensors and the ‘double tap to wake’ functions, along with the ‘lift to wake’ function are all not working now. Any ideas, or is there a commonality to the sensors?
