Switch Turns (can see backlight and hear it) On But Screen is Black?

So i just fixed my left joi con rail and when i put the switch back together the switch would power on, as i could see the backlight turn on and could hear the switch with the menu/options the screen just says black. Any suggestions. Everything worked before I replaced the joi con rail.
