Switch fan blowing very hard/fast after replacement

I just replaced my fan with one ordered here and after doing it and powering up my device, the fan speed is at 11. Not sure if this is normal with it undocked, but being how I never heard the fan prior to the old one giving out, I feel it’s safer to ask than to assume. Please guide/assist me. Thank you.
