Will Apple know that I opened my phone?

Hey guys, I've got a question concerning the changing of the iphone backpanel.

I'm asking myself if there is any seal that gets broken when I change the backpanel of the phone.

I'm asking you, because I think this could be interessting to everyone who wants to change the back.

In case that you just want to get your phone a new look etc. , maybe with a different-colored back, it would be nice to know whether you lose your apple warrenty, or not.

Thank you for your time ;)

If it has pentelobe, apple will know

If it has phillips screws, not likely, but you may get Pentelobe ones

Here is a tip... My dad has a iPhone 3GS and he broke the glass, they fixed it for him, but this was a one time deal from what I was told, so use that first before you go change the backs

Don't sell it! There is physically no way for apple to know if you have changed the back panel or not because there are no counter measures in place for them to be able to tell that. If the part you have bought is of any decent quality it will have exactly the same logo's and characteristics of a normal original back cover. You can replace it yourself with no hassles :) How do i know? I have done it many times before myself.
