How do I replace my knock sensor on circuit 1 bank 1?
2008 chevy Equinox knock sensor replacement location.

@tryin313 bank 1 is the side where Cylinder 1 is located. Image shows bank 1
To replace it, you disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the knock sensor. Loosen the knock sensor bolt and remove the knock sensor.

Look right above your Starter and to the left of the oil filter looking under the Equinox. Size of the Socket you will need will be a 1/2 inch it's very tight it's not a lot of room but if you stay facial ratchet towards the sky You can fit your socket and ratchet On the bolt. Do not use an extension on the ratchet.
