My chromebook ASUS C302 is plugged to the wall yet is not charging. The LED on the side is orange and blinks slowly (not fast blinking). When I turn it on, I see that it is charging (bolt in battery icon) yet when I run a crotch, it says that the battery is discharging even tho it is plugged. It also says that battery health is 82%.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

We’ve had to do a reset by holding down Power Button and the Third function key (not counting escape). This should cause some sort of reset that allows it to charge again.

Thank you so much for the tip! After performing that combination of keys & buttons my chromebook reset itself and the charging light came back on

после покупки моего хромбука, при подключении к зарядному устройству, загорался оранжевый светодиод. если так заряжать его сколько угодно времени, то батарея не заряжалась. хромбук мог работать только от провода розетки. при проверке батареи хромбук говорил что она отсутствует, хотя физически она была внутри и была правильно подключена. сбросить хромбук как здесь в инструкции, я не смог, так как только я зажимаю клавиши сброса - хромбук просто выключается и уходит на перезагрузку. по итогу я купил новую батарею, заменил ее и все заработало хорошо.
