My disc engine doesn't work

Hello guys ,I was playing ps2 and all of the sudden my disc motor stop working, i believed it was the sensor problem but I noticed that the lents were still on and working perfectly but the only problem was that my disc wasn't spinning, so I bought a replacement optical drive to fix everything in one go but I still have the same problem. If you guys have any solutions I will really appreciated
