Replacing the logic board with one from another model

MacBook Pro (15 Zoll, Core 2 Duo, Modelle A1226 und A1260)

2,2, 2,4, 2,5 oder 2,6 GHz Core 2 Duo Prozessor

I have a MBP A1226 (2.4 GHz (Santa Rosa) MacBook Pro 15")

with a bad Logic board and another MBP A1150 (2.16 GHz (Core Duo) MacBook Pro 15")

That works fine but the screen is cracked.

Could I possibly put the good logic board from A1150 into A1226?

Ist dies eine gute Frage?

I'm pretty sure you can as long as they are the same year model. It would probably be easier to swap the displays though.
