Xbox elite series 2 rb button not working tidy

Everytime i click the rb button it jumps to places so say im on the home screen and i click my rb button it will jump to the mixer category even though ive only clicked it once the same thing happened when i had a normal xbox one controller and ive only just bought this series 2 controller about a week ago
