I broke the digitizer on my ipad but the screen works but not touch.

The cable is broken and ripped.

Well, that’s what the digitizer is for. Touch. You broke it. The only solution is a replacement. Sorry about your luck.

One more note. The digitizer can be replaced with a glass replacement. If the screen works, keep it. On the first gen Air, these are seperate units.

Ok thank you that's what I was going to do in the first place.
