Vertical pixel lines is this a connector cable or the screen?
Hello there,
My screen recently developed vertical lines in a portion of the screen. This was due to a bag of rice that got stuck in the hinge and then crushed when I was closing the screen. I’ve created a video describing the problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhNLs34V...
Can someone tell me if this is a problem with the connector or the whole screen? Not really in the mood of shelling out $600 for a new screen

broken lcd you need to replace the whole lcd and housing

Thanks @lbsocal12. Probably is better to actually just get a new laptop considering it's around £600 or so to replace that :/

@grolubao i meant you could always use an external display if you dont move it around much
