iPad pro 10.5 Stuck in boot loop / won't restore

Hi,

I have an iPad pro 10.5 that I’ve taken on a personal project/learning curve. The iPad is stuck in a boot loop:

I have tried restoring via iTunes. The progress bar moves up only very slightly and then remains still.

I have tried putting the iPad into DFU mode and restoring via iTunes again with the same result.

As far as I know the iPad has not been repaired.

Could someone advise on another way I might restore the iPad?
