Logic Board or Wireless Card?

I have a 2015 13" Macbook Pro. It's served me well but the wifi has been periodically dropping out on the device. When this happens, I'll get the empty wifi icon in the menu bar, and then it will reset, search for a network and eventually rejoin.

I had a somewhat similar issue with the laptop in 2016, and Apple replaced the logic board under warranty.

I'm wondering if I need to replace the full logic board, or just the wireless card. I see both on the iFixit store, and am wondering what approach to take. An $85 wireless card is palatable, whereas a $799 logic board would mean i’d just buy a new computer instead…
