Kindle Fire went dead and never powered back on. It came on and stayed on for a while. But now it died again and won't come back on. I'm not sure what version it is and can't find a guide to remove the battery. I have loads of extra info if needed.

@oldturkey03 I can't tell because I can't get into to the Kindle to view most of that.
@personhuman try to post some really good picture of what your Kindle looks like. Front and back please and post those pictures with your QUESTION
@oldturkey03 don't have my kindle with me RN but it has a red case, front camera on the shorter side, back camera in the corner I think right corner?

I'm not sure if the guide matches up with my kindle device, and the lack of pictures makes it difficult.
I don't know a lot about kindles. I just found the site with information on how to do it. I know more about iPhones, iPads, and iPods
OK, I guess I'll search for a guide that matches up with my own device
