If I replaced my heat shield plate + and home button flex cable..?
…will touch ID still be functional? I still have my old touch ID home button (original. picture 2) that came with the logic board, but I wonder if the home button flex cable (picture 1) is also tied to the motherboard? thanks

TL;DR- if I replaced the part in picture 1, while still having the original touch ID button that came with my iPhone, will touch ID still work?
