Dodgy connection to MacBook camera

Amidst my final university exams stuck in lockdown my MacBook wasn’t charging and I may have taken some frustration out on it. I closed the screen quite hard which I now regret. My Mac charges fine as it was the power socket in the wall that wasn’t working but now I’ve noticed that the camera on my Mac doesn’t connect. I tried all of the standard reboot procedures but this didn’t work. I subsequently found out that the camera does work but only when the screen is at an acute angle. I don’t have any experience fixing computers but I hope this means that there is just a connection that has been shook loose and no more. I was just wondering if someone with more experience fixing macs had any opinion on this matter? Everything else on it works fine so I’m hoping it could be a quick fix. Also I’m afraid I can’t give any more diagnostics. I don’t have the tools to take apart my Mac, neither do I feel comfortable doing so.
