Why is my SSD not being recognized to boot up?
I recently upgraded my SSD and used an external card reader to install the new OS on it because my MacBook Pro was not detecting it. I tried a new SSD tray and still not reading it. What would be my next step? I connected the SSD to my other MacBook using an external reader and it works with no issues. Any help is greatly appreciated.

What is the SSD and your OS version you are working from?

I am using a Samsung MZ-DPC768A-0A2 768GB SSD and currently using Catalina 10.15.5. It boots up perfectly if I use the SSD to USB reader but once it goes in the tray it won’t read it.
