What is the correct top case?

I have a MacBook 2.16 Core 2 Duo (YA3) that has a few problems. However, I need to get the keyboard working properly before I can address them. I has a top case now with the orange ribbon cable that neither the keyboard or the track pad works; I believe that this is a replacement. I tried a working keyboard from a MacBook 2.0 Core 2 duo () that has the gray ribbon cable and the clicker on the track pad did not work. The MacBook boot up at as soon as it is plugged in.

I think I will try the a new cable first. But my question is what is the proper top case and ribbon cable for this MacBook (orange or gray)? Will either work?
