My right joycon is working but wont connect to my switch even if it is docked onto the switch. It wont connect at all and I have no clue what the problem is.

I had this exact same problem right out of the box. Set up a repair on Nintendo’s support website and they will send you a new one or fix it for free. DO NOT open it or attempt to fix it yourself, you will void the warranty and they won’t fix it.
