MacBook Pro bluetooth is unusable when bottom cover is on!

only happens with this mac. i have tried different headphones, same thing happens. my audio cuts out if the (aluminum) bottom cover is on.

anyone know why?

Edit: it cuts out when the bottom cover and when i’m like 2-3 feet away.
