Display issues on MacBook Pro 2018 15"
I have thick green lines appearing vertically on the screen on the login window. After I login I see random flickering blue lines on the screen. I have updated the MacOS to the latest version, reset PRAM and NVRAM but the issue still exists. What might me the reason?
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

@Muaz - If you still have AppleCare+ I would go to Apple to get the display replaced as it will be cheaper. Otherwise you'll need a new display assembly MacBook Pro (15 Zoll, 2018, Touch Bar) Display austauschen

I dont have under apple care+ man.maybe i was wondering if it was MacOs problem because it used it with care no physical damage was done etc or maybe it will fix it by it self.dont know only harsh can tell me the conclusion because it just happened to him month before.
Some times it all prefect even start up screen was perfect during macOS update.
If this gives u any clue
If avoid blue area that pops up in start up for normal usage there is no problem at all no flickering etc.but it starts flickering when around that area is used for rendering any clue!
I want to avoid replacement bad af because just bought this laptop few weeks ago! I rather buy 4k/ 2k 144Hz monitor then getting new display

This issue has been happening to hundreds of people, I paid huge for a top of the range MacBook Pro and it barely lasted the two years and the screen did the same thing. It’s a manufacturing fault that Apple won’t admit. The opening and closing of the screen destroys the thin cables that attach the LCD to the main body, it is moulded together so in the past you could replace the cables but now they force you to pay for an entire new display which costs 50% of the entire price of a new machine. It’s got nothing to do with software or updates don’t be a fool. Apple refuse to acknowledge their manufacture fault and are raping the consumers blindly. I will NEVER purchase another Apple Mac again. Wasted my money and time.

Mine fell to pieces about 2 weeks before the 2 year warranty was up, but we were in strict lockdown and I couldn’t get my computer to a dealer. When I eventually got my computer there they weren’t interested in helping me. Mine was the latest Touch Bar. I spent a fortune and they gave me a faulty machine and did nothing about it. Goodbye Apple
