No service after charging port replacement. - RESOLVED

I went to replace my charging port and my ear speaker. I put it together and I have no service at all. When i take out the sim card tray it says no sim card. I looked at my antenna cables and it looked like the longer cable is damaged I ordered new antenna cables. I was told the antenna cables have to be just right. Or is it possible I could have shorted out a chip? Can someone supply a video on installing antenna cables?

Update (09/15/2020)

I replaced the charging port board and the 2 antenna cables and my loud speaker and my s8 is working now.

Hi @isaiahjm87 ,

The cables are for the WiFi/BT signals not for the GSM mobile phone signals.

The GSM antenna array is part of the midfame assembly. See Step.5 of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Teardown guide

So my speaker housing could be damaged?

Use the guides to check that the speaker module etc is properly connected
