I used sansa charger and now my iPod won't turn on.
I just can't seem to get it to work. Ive had it charging using an apple iPod cable, and its getting very warm. Ive tried to reset it and all.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

I too have both a Sansa (E280) and an IPOD. Luckily, the sansa cable is black and the Ipod cable is white.
The Sansa cable has inputs and outputs on these pins:
1 & 2... +5V
3 & 6... gnd
5 ....... USB data
4 ....... USB data
28 ...... left audio out
27 ...... right audio out
And the Ipod cable uses those pins as:
1 & 2....... GND Ground (-), internally connected with Pin 2
3............. Audio output, right channel
4............. Audio output, left channel
5............. Right In Line In - R (+)
6............. Left In Line In - L (+)
27.......... Data (+)
28.......... TPB (+) FireWire Data TPB (+)
You may have burned something out applying +5v to a ground pin.

Possibility you destroyed the circuit for the battery. Start by replacing that one and see what you get after that. It will provide you with a starting point for further trouble shooting.
