3 buttons at bottom triangle/circle/square now solid?

The 3 buttons on the bottom of the home screen -triangle circle square are now solid white instead of being see through?? My daughter was playing on my tablet and now its changed? Also the drop down menu from top is no longer black, just white and has less options. Anyone have this change and know how to get it back? Thanks
