Hi @stuart22 ,
Without looking at the schematics for each board I would say no you can’t.
Searching online for a Un55d6000 power board, shows that the power board “board number” is BN44-00424A and the Pn58c590g4fxza power board “board number” is BN44-00332A or BN44-0031A. They have different board numbers for a reason, mainly that they are different and are designed for specific applications
You can verify this by checking the board numbers printed on the boards that you have
They will be different circuits and most probably will supply the voltages, which may also be different, on different pins in the connectors.
Doing this is a good way to damage either the TV, the power board or both. Always swap like for like unless you can confirm that they’re compatible and even then treat this with caution.

Just off the top of my head but don't plasma screens use a lot more power than LCD's. That is why plasma models disappeared even though they had a vastly superior picture.
Hi @aactech
Don't know about a lot more power but they certainly had a lot more individual power feeds from the power board as there are a lot more boards in the TV.
Nowadays the LED TV has only the power board, mainboard, tcon (although it can now be incorporated in the mainboard as well), the tab boards that connect to the panel itself, the LED backlight strips and a control button board. The power is only supplied from the power board directly to the mainboard and LED backlights
Plasma TV have a lot more as they have driver boards for the vertical and horizontal panel drivers. SS - x sustain, SC - y sustain SU -buffer board, SD - buffer board, plus then there is the A board - mainboard
As you said a superior picture but to my mind a lot more complicated.
BTW, congratulations on achieving 10k in reputation points. Well done
Hi JF,
Thank you and thank you for sharing your extensive knowledge.
I have merely dabled with TV's and monitors.
