My volume-up button is jammed and won’t click or sprint back. For now I just use the volume-down button in tandem with the on-screen slider if I want to raise the volume, but I would prefer to have both buttons functional. It would be great to have a guide for this.
Long shot, but is there any possibility that the button mechanism is shared with other phones like the Pixel 3a?

Look on YouTube. There are multiple videos showing how to change the volume switch. I would watch them all and pick the best one and keep the video on when you are repairing your phone. You can pause and make sure you are doing it correctly.
