Logic board fixed for a year, now screen blank again...

After doing the "magic blanket" trick which worked for me (see MBP A1226 Logic Board last resort fix for nVidia video chip), then eventually needing to get it professionally soldered (well backyard job anyway), my MBP stayed good for over a year. Not long after the fix my battery was asking to be replaced, and I finally bought one after it kept turning off when not on charge, without even warning me it was running low. Now the problem is I'm back to square one - turns on, chimes, but no screen.

Please someone tell me this isn't the same problem!
