Hi @brendonmennegke,
I realize that you said that you updated the drivers (are these the ones you installed?, click on “See Files” to view the version number) for the LAN adapter but what is its status as shown in Device Manager > Network Adapters > right click on Realtek adapter entry > Properties > General tab > Device status box?
Does it state that This device is working properly?
If it shows that it is OK try resetting the Network TCP/IP stack and check
In the search box on the taskbar (click Start), type command prompt and then when the cmd app menus appear select Run as administrator and confirm.
At the command prompt enter the following commands, one at a time:
ipconfig /release and press Enter. (Yes there is a space before the / symbol in the commands that use it.)
ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
netsh int ip reset and press Enter.
netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
When all the commands have been entered OK, close the Command window (and any other window that may be open) and restart the laptop in the normal way i.e. Start > Power > Restart and check.
Also just verifying that you checked that the Ethernet in the router is working by connecting another known working device using Ethernet to it?
