Laptop took a drop. Now it has a small dent but it throttles faster

A few weeks ago my MacBook Air M1 fell and got a small dent. After that I started noticing that the laptop gets ever so slightly warmer than before and during a game it throttles faster and harder than it used to. I used to get 90 FPS in Dota2 constantly but now while the game starts with 90 FPS, it drops to 40-50 after 10 minutes at the same settings. I’ve tried resetting the SMC, restarting, reinstalling Mac OS and it does the same.

Any idea what could have happened? Also if I take it in to apple will my warranty be now void?
