Not able to turn on my Bose Soundlink Color. Why won't it work?

I tried the update thingy and everything else. It's detected by my computer and I'm able to update it successfully during which the red light comes up. It flashes amber and red. But after a while no led, and it doesn't even power on.

Is the speaker connected to a power source?

Yes. It's connected to a usb charger.
