The only damage looks like the keyboard backlight cable was cut. How do I find this part (number)?

There are 21 machines that use the a1398 designation. Can you be more specific? Can you post a photo?

I'm not sure on the part number but I looked on the Web and found this is this the cable you are needing?

@mattpain - Sorry thats the eDP cable which connects the display to the logic board.

The keyboard backlight uses a different approach.
