PS 4 stalls during inialisation

My PS4 was failing to install Sony updates,after trying all suggested solutions decided I might have a faulty HD.Installed a new drive from Crucial,downloaded boot file from sony(the 2nd one!)and off it went no problem except it stopped dead at 52%,have re tried,that’s what always happens?Any ideas?
