Firefox won't load. takes a long time to quit.
I had to force quit Photos before the device would shut down. What’s going on? Thanks for reading.

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the slow apps, and then downloading the latest updates for the MacBook?

RAM?
Drive type HDD or SSD?
How big is the drive?
How full is the drive?
What is your OS version?
We need all of this to even start a dialog
