Kenmore Washer (31552) Cycle Selection Knob takes multiple spins

Kenmore Elite 31552 5.2 cu ft Top-Load Washer w/Steam & Accela Wash

Spinning the Cycle Selection knob takes a random number of turns to go to the next selection. Mostly around 4 going left and completely random going right.

Other buttons are not always responsive. (e.g. pressed spin selection button and changed a few times, then got “stuck” on no spin)

Otherwise, seems to be operating correctly when actually washing clothes.

Any assistance/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
