My son smashed his iPad Air3 screen “by accident”…
I have agreed to fix it for him if he pays for parts, but I see no Air3 screen (glass only) repair kits, only Air2. Do I just use the Air2 kit on an Air3, & is the Air2 guide the same for an Air3?

The iPad Air 3’s display glass, LCD and digitizer are all fuzed together. While it may be possible to just replace the glass, it is very risky and not worth it, especially if you’re not super experienced. So it would be a lot better just to replace the whole display assembly.

Same for iPad Air2. Glass only isn't an option since the lcd and digitizer are fused.
